What your search on daydrive.ua turned up, and what each find means

Updated:

A search for your car can lead to daydrive.ua by several routes: our checker, a Google search, the lot number from the auction papers. What you find at the end is not always self-explanatory. This article takes the finds you may come across one by one, from a lot page with the full VIN to a search that returns nothing, and says what each means and what to send us. How to search in the first place is covered in our guide; here we start from what is already on your screen.

Pages that are your car’s lot

  • An address containing /lot/copart- or /lot/iaai-. A lot page from the «Аукціони авто» catalogue, where daydrive.ua lists Copart and IAAI lots from US auctions. It shows the car as an auction lot: the auction photos, the damage, the price. The cars Day Drive sells itself are a separate part of the site. This lot page is what the order is for.
  • The same address with /ru/ right after the domain. The Russian version of that lot. The same order covers it; no second order is needed.
  • An address with asterisks where the VIN should end. In roughly half of the newest lot addresses we saw, the last six characters of the VIN are stars. The lot number and the photos still identify the car, so this is still your lot.
  • An address with only the auction name and a number. The oldest addresses in the site’s sitemap look like this. A full-VIN search can miss them, which is why the lot number is worth searching as well.

Finds that need a second look

  • Two different lot numbers for one VIN. The car has been through more than one auction, and each auction has a lot page of its own. Put both links in the order, or send them to us before paying and ask how they will be handled.
  • A daydrive.ua page that is not a lot page. If the address has neither copart- nor iaai- in it, send us the link before ordering so that we can tell you whether this order fits it.
  • The same lot on another domain. Another website has copied the auction record. That is a separate page, and this order does not reach it.

Screens and empty searches

  • A visitor check in front of the page. When we checked in October 2026, daydrive.ua screened visitors before showing most of its pages. The check is the site’s own screening and says nothing about whether your lot page is there or gone.
  • Nothing for the full VIN. That alone does not mean there is no page. A starred VIN or one of the oldest addresses can keep a lot out of full-VIN searches; search the lot number together with site:daydrive.ua, or use the checker on this site.
  • Nothing for the VIN and nothing for the lot number. Then there may simply be no daydrive.ua page for your car, and nothing for this order to do. Run the check again before you sell the car, as new lots can appear.

After an order: what lingers and what is new

  • A Google result that opens a page no longer showing your car. Google has not been back to that address since the page went. The old result usually drops out within a day or two. The Ukrainian and the Russian addresses are two separate pages to Google, so they can drop out on different days.
  • A thumbnail in Google Images. A small copy of a photo can stay visible for a short while after its page is gone.
  • A new lot page weeks or months later. The page we had removed stays gone; a new lot from a later auction is a new case and a new order.

If something still shows your car after our confirmation, write to office@cleanvinusa.com with the order number, the VIN, the website and the page link.

What to send with the order

The VIN is what the order needs. The lot number and the links you found help us go straight to the right lot, in particular when the VIN is starred. Removal from daydrive.ua costs $60 and is promised within 12–24 hours, 1–2 days longer during Google updates or technical problems on the servers. The steps are in our guide.

Frequently asked questions

I have the lot number but not the VIN. Can I order with the lot number alone?

The order needs the VIN, which goes in the order details. You will find it on the windscreen, on the door frame or in the registration document. Add the lot number too: on daydrive.ua it is part of the page address, so it points us straight at the lot.

daydrive.ua shows a visitor check instead of my lot. Has the page been removed?

The check tells you nothing either way. It is the site screening visitors, and when we looked in October 2026 it stood in front of most pages. What counts is the page you see once the check is over.

I found two lots for my car. Do I need two orders?

Send both links to us on WhatsApp or Telegram before you pay and ask. Each auction has its own lot page, and we will tell you how the order covers them.
